Brent
Brent was formed in 1965 from the combination of the Boroughs of Wembley and Willesden. Its name derives from the River Brent which runs through the Borough. Brent's most famous landmark is Wembly Stadium.

Brent Cross Shopping Centre - www.brentcross.co.uk The first enclosed shopping centre in the UK, Brent Cross is still a popular shopping destination. The website has a lot of information about the centre, its shops, vacancies and events. Note: Brent Cross is actually located in Barnet not Brent. Brent Community Site - www.brentbrain.org.uk A fantastic site - BRAIN is the "Brent Resource and Information Network" bringing community information to the London Borough of Brent and has been around since 1998. Brent Heritage - www.brent-heritage.co.uk A nice little site dedicated to the history of Brent.
