Close to Lands End, Porthcurno Bay is a beautiful secluded beach surrounded by dramatic granite cliffs. Porthcurno is famous for it’s telegraph station where the undersea cables linked Britain to India. Also nearby is the wonderful Minack Theatre, built on ruins of a 5th century church, the amphitheatre overlooks the sea and is only accessible by foot. There is ample parking, toilets and places to eat but accommodation is spares. |
